This program was design to teach a skill that could be use immediately in the work force, making on average $5,000.00 a month. William Gary is the trainer for this program, bringing over 25 years experience in sign making.
This training program consist of two phases; the first phase, an eight week course held two hours a day, two days a week. They learn to make vinyl lettering to put on vehicles, wood and plastic signs, they learn about window lettering, wall murals, banners, magnetic car and truck signs, electrical signs and wraps for trucks and cars. After graduating from this program, students will receive a certificate in signage and feel confident in acquiring work at a sign company.
Serious students will be able to enter the second phase of the program consisting of eight weeks; they'll become Apprentices of Gary Signs. Work five hours a day, Monday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. Students will receive a weekly stipend for working hands-on with signs, receiving training and and at graduation, receiving a certificate in wrapping cars and trucks. At the end of this program students will have skills to be able to work at any sign company or start their own business in signs.
